The best part was making it together. My daughter had very strong opinions about where every pearl should go, which honestly made it more fun. We put a picture of the two of us inside, and now she points it out whenever someone comes over.
I’m usually the person who saves craft ideas and never actually makes them, so finishing this felt pretty good. Mine isn’t perfectly symmetrical, but I kind of love that. It feels like something I made, instead of another decoration I picked up at the store.
